Capable firms are shut out of billions in public work. AwardBid lets them in — and helps them win.

Public bodies buy hundreds of billions of pounds of goods and services through framework contracts every year — work that capable trade and service firms are too often shut out of, because the route in is hard to navigate and the bidding is heavy. AwardBid opens that door. We start where the need is sharpest: social housing repairs & maintenance, a ~£10 billion-a-year market — then extend the same engine across the wider public sector. We surface the right frameworks for a firm and turn proven winning content into something reusable. Below is the live triage engine — pick a firm to watch it run.

1 See work you'd never find

We pull opportunities from many disparate public-sector sources most firms never watch — and intelligently match them to your firm. Most firms don't even know this work exists.

2 Your data becomes your edge

Every bid you win adds to your private library — your RFP answers, your winning content, kept for you and reused only for you. It compounds into an advantage no competitor can copy, because it's yours.

3 Reuse most of every bid

Typically 80–90% of a winning bid — operational, quality, social-value, customer-care — is reusable across trades (measured across real winning bids). Assembled from proven answers, so you bid for more work with far less effort.

4 Software-led, expert-assured

The platform does the heavy lifting — sourcing, matching and assembling from proven content. A named expert reviews and signs off before submission, so it's never unchecked AI. Built on ~50 years of combined founder experience in technology and public-sector procurement.

🔒 Your data stays yours. Your firm's unique content is private to you and never shared. The matching and shared library are built only from anonymised patterns and publicly-available data — never one firm's confidential material used for another.

About AwardBid

AwardBid exists to close a simple gap: capable trade and service firms do excellent work, but the way public-sector frameworks are found, entered and bid for keeps good firms out. We make that route navigable — and put winning-quality bid content within reach.

Who's behind it

AwardBid is built by founders who pair two sides rarely found together:

  • 25 years in senior enterprise technology — deep AI and platform capability. Leads the build, the data layer, and the commercial model.
  • ~20 years in public-sector procurement — across both the buyer and supplier sides. The sector credibility, the relationships, and a hard-won understanding of what actually wins.
  • Defence & military insight — a former RAF officer on the team, with recent, hands-on experience helping a firm respond to and win MoD business. First-hand understanding of how public-sector and defence procurement really works.

That combination is the point: real domain judgement on what scores, built into a platform by people who know how to build platforms.

What it's for

AwardBid provides value in three places:

  • See work you'd never find. Public-sector opportunities are scattered across government feeds and framework-operator sites most firms never see — so capable firms miss work they could win. AwardBid pulls these disparate sources into one place and runs intelligent, personalised matching against each firm's trade, region, size and accreditations — surfacing the right frameworks and lots, and when they open.
  • Bid faster, and well. Most of a winning bid — operational, quality, social-value and customer-care content — is reusable across trades. We assemble it from a library of proven answers.
  • Assured, not just automated. The platform drafts and assembles; a named expert reviews and signs off the trade-specific method before submission. A human review layer on top of the software — never unchecked AI, never auto-submitted.
What makes AwardBid unique

Discovery tools and AI bid-writers exist — but only AwardBid brings together three things that make it genuinely different:

  • Fragmented data, unified. We aggregate and normalise opportunity data from many disparate public-sector sources into one matched feed — the work nobody else has done for this market.
  • A compounding evidence asset. A structured library of real winning bid content that grows with every bid — and each firm's own private library becomes their unique advantage. A generic AI tool starts from a blank page; we start from what has actually won.
  • Vertical depth. Deep in social-housing R&M first — the relationships, the operators, what scores — then the same engine across the wider public sector.

The data and the library are AwardBid's lasting advantage: they grow stronger with every bid, at almost no extra cost — an asset that builds over time and would take years of the same work to match.

Where we are

  • Evidence base proven. 9 real winning bid packs analysed across 8 trades and multiple housing associations — the basis for the measured reuse figures.
  • Engine live. The triage engine runs on real government data across three live sources, with a 14-framework operator directory.
  • Demand validation in progress. Actively in structured conversations with target firms to confirm willingness-to-pay before scaling the build — discipline, not guesswork.
  • Model. Seat-based licence that scales with firm size — recurring revenue, buying an ongoing capability, not a one-off document.
Where our opportunity data comes from

Public-sector opportunities are scattered across many disparate sources — no single place to look. AwardBid pulls them together and matches them to each firm. Four sources are live today, with coverage expanding across the public sector:

Find a Tender (FTS)
UK government feed — higher-value & framework notices, plus pipeline/planning early-warnings
Live
Contracts Finder
UK government feed — lower-value contracts (£12k+), catching SME-sized work FTS misses
Live
Framework operators
CHIC, Procurement for Housing, LHC, EEM — the named agreements firms actually join
Live
Pipeline & planning notices
Advance warning of procurements before they open — so you're ready, not late
Live
Devolved & regional portals
Sell2Wales, Public Contracts Scotland, eTenddersNI and similar
Next
Wider operator & buyer networks
Additional framework operators and direct buyer portals as we extend across the public sector
Roadmap
How a firm moves through AwardBid

It starts with data most firms never see. AwardBid continuously pulls opportunities from many disparate sources — the government's Find a Tender and Contracts Finder feeds, plus the framework-operator directories (CHIC, Procurement for Housing, LHC, EEM) — and intelligently matches them to each firm. Most firms don't even know these opportunities exist; we make them visible and personal.

Firm profile trade · region · size · accreditations 1 · Intelligent match scattered sources, pulled together and matched to the firm 2 · Assemble bid reuse proven answers — 80–90% carries across trades THE FINAL 20% — YOUR CHOICE 3a · You finish it yourself Add the commercials and trade-specific detail — the last 20% that makes your bid uniquely yours. You submit full control, your commercials stay private to you 3b · AwardBid expert-reviewed our specialist finishes & signs off the trade-specific method — never unchecked AI AwardBid-assured, you submit expert-reviewed, compliant, a winning edge

Either way, a named human always owns and submits the bid — AwardBid never auto-submits. Many firms keep the final commercials in-house; that's exactly the part that makes a bid uniquely theirs.

How pricing works — buy as much of the journey as you need

AwardBid is priced on two simple axes: how far up the bid journey you want us to take you, and the size of your firm. Start with discovery alone and move up as you see the value — you're buying an ongoing capability, not a one-off document.

Early-adopter benefits

The first firms to come on board shape the product and get rewarded for it:

  • Founding-member rates — preferential, time-limited pricing for early firms.
  • Direct line to the team — your priorities influence what we build next.
  • First-mover advantage on the frameworks that matter to you.
  • Referral rewards — introduce another firm that comes on board and you'll both be rewarded (benefits to be agreed). The best firms know each other; we'd rather grow through trusted introductions than cold sales.
